I was born in Coimbra in 1985. My passion for dental medicine and dentistry did not come immediately but grew through my contact with patients over the years. I completed my Integrated Master's in Dental Medicine at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Lisbon, with the hope of working more closely with other medical specialties in an integrated fashion.
My first ten years of practice were spent in a hospital environment, where I eventually served as Clinical Coordinator of Dental Medicine at a private hospital from 2011 to 2018. During this time, I completed a Master's in Oral Rehabilitation and Occlusion at Donau-Universität Krems in Austria, a Postgraduate course in Oral Rehabilitation at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, and a three-year course in Orthodontics with the SBG Group.
Currently, I serve as Clinical Director at Oral Function, a center specializing in oral prevention and rehabilitation. My clinical practice is deeply dedicated to diagnosis and treatment planning, with a focus on dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and occlusion. My professional drive lies in the continuous effort to understand and respect the complexity of the stomatognathic system, addressing overall health in the long term through prevention.
For almost 15 years, I have maintained a stable clinical practice in the city of Santarém, working to promote long-term oral health and the well-being of my patients.
