Oral Implantology, Aethetic Dentistry and Complex Case Rehabilitation
Doctor Mário Afonso is natural from Felgueiras. He graduated in dental medicine from Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde Norte in 2008.
In 2009 and 2010 he progressed to further training in oral surgery and implantology, which are areas of dentistry to which he dedicates much of his clinical activity to this day.His interest in oral surgery led him to join the prestigious Urban Regeneration Institute in Budapest (Hungary) in 2015, training in advanced bone regeneration techniques with Professor Istvan Urban.
In 2017 Mario attended the Postgraduate Course in Advanced Biomimetic Oral Rehabilitation, at the same institute where he graduated years before.
In 2018, he joined the Biomimetic Dentistry Portugal group, a reference group in the field of postgraduate training in aesthetic and conservative oral rehabilitation.
He is an educator to other dentists in a national level in the fields of mucogingival surgery, periodontal and peri-implant aesthetics.
He currently dedicates his clinical practice exclusively to the areas of surgery and oral rehabilitation.
