I was born in the city of Portalegre in the north Alentejo. After completing my studies in that city I moved to the University of Coimbra to study Dental Medicine in 2002. I Wanted to study for medical doctor but after visiting the Coimbra´s dental clinic and see my older colleagues working I immediately decided that this would be my passion for the rest of my life.
I finished in 2008 and started my journey in learning more about the areas I love the most in dentistry. After be basic education in surgery and implantology I engaged in a 2 year journey in my first postgraduates studies in oral rehabilitation and occlusion in Coimbra. In the mean while opened my Private practice Vida Lis, in the city of Leiria where I centered in doing the kind of treatments and practices that I thing that are correct and honest for my patients. I am centered in oral rehabilitation, implant surgery and coordinating the different colleagues to deliver holistic treatment plan.
When I felt that I was stagnated in my knowledge I invested 1 year in the best pos-graduate I could find in CESPU in the biomimetic group. I fell in love once more with my work and there entered a new era in my practice. I was invited to be part of the BDP education in CESPU in 2026 and excited to keep learning and teach what I have learned in this 18 years of dental practice. Always wanting to improve and learn I am now focusing in learning about sleep and breathing because I believe that we can improve and make a real difference in the quality of our patients life.
