Luis Fonseca was born in Ribamar an ocean front small town in Portugal .
He enrolled the Dental Laboratory Technology Program at the University of Lisbon. Upon completion of the four year program he decided to further pursue his education enrolling the Dental Laboratory Technology Program at the University of Southern Illinois U.S.A . He , during a period of 3 years , as a student , completed the Dental Laboratory Technology Program A.A.S - B.S , as well as numerous classes on the subject of teaching.
He then came back and was a teacher at the Dental Laboratory technology program at the University of Lisbon for 8 years . In his hunger to learn more he met his great master Mario Chiodini, wich had his lab in Milan Italy, and was his student , for 5 years . At the same time he completed numerous courses and programs with the greatest international technicians in his area of interest , occlusion , ceramics and aesthetics .
Over the course of his career he has given numerous practical courses and lectures ,and is the author or co-author of numerous articles and scientific posters.
He is founder and owner of the Wizz Dentallab in Lisbon , a laboratory that is exclusively dedicated to fixed prosthodontics and that uses both Analog and Digital Technologies.
He is currently a member of the scientific committees of EADD and SPERO as well member of the PGROBA group. He is at present international opinion leader IVOCLAR.
Luis Fonseca devotes himself exclusively to the field of aesthetics , ceramics and occlusion.
